Some try argue the fact that, 'Oh! It's harder to start up a server now than in 2010 because RSPS's are dying!", "My RSPS is perfect, but the RSPS's community is dying... that's the only reason I don't have players!"
Let's face it, that's total bullshit.
Sure, some of us who are in college or even graduating from college are starting to leave the RSPS scene, but there are plenty of people still out there and even by looking at Rune-Server from the past 5 years, nothing has really changed. RSPS's will continue to be online and I'd imagine once RuneScape shuts down that RSPS's will still be online, so to say that they're dying is outlandish.
Why do we have one of these threads every month or so? It's pretty obvious RSPS isn't dead yet.
RSPS will not be dead for a long time.
RSPS were never extreeeeemly super duper popular, they had their starting time, then a smaller hypetime and now its back to "normal".
Also there is a pretty big community of developers, just look at the projects and advertise threads. The only thing that happend is that fewer servers got popular and there fore they "hoard" the players. In the past there were a lot more servers, but the servers also had less players.
yes, yes and yes.
now move on
Corona virus will kill RSPS scene
However now that I think of it, pokemons and cars in a rsps is not enough, I think we should add in space ships and a 4-dimension system with time machines
Can't be dead if it was never alive. Also yes, but maybe no.
Oh look who isn’t deadQuote:
