Just an incredibly loaded question, 'exploiting animals' makes it sound like conflating meat eating with animal abuse, which I guess while some people do have that view there really should have been a middle ground drawn between people who just hate animals and those who are vegans?

there is no middle ground, lol. You either contribute to animal abuse by consuming animal products or you don't. Eating meat/animal products doesn't inherently make u a bad person but refusing to acknowledge the atrocities of the animal agriculture industry is inherently bad. No matter how you put it, if you have any sort of reasonable moral compass you'd agree that humans shouldn't exploit animals, especially because they don't have to.
cows are cute af bro

Those animals lived in the wild. Cows have been domesticated for thousands of years. What evolutionary advantages do you think a farm cow is going to have to survive by itself now? I don't see how these cows would survive in somewhere like India for example, where there are larger predators. And even if so what do you do with all of the current cows? Release them on the m5?
* India is probably a bad example. The cow is considered sacred so they have more protection than most countries, but in most parts of the world they are nothing more than for consumption. Without this demand they die.

obviously a domesticated animal cannot live in the wild, that's what domestication does to them. If they weren't domesticated so humans could exploit them in the first place they would have been just fine. You wouldn't just throw your dog out in the wild and expect him to survive alone.
bro mostly every wild animal has larger predators lmfao. ur acting like im suggesting to free all 1 billion+ of the cows on the planet.
everything you've brought up is a result of cows being domesticated for your consumption, further supporting my original point that animal exploitation is bad.
cows dying in india lmfao![]()

So you don't have an explanation. You want us to release up to a billion cows in the wild, most will die. We could always have a ban on breeding more and releasing them gradually?
Idk what's so controversial about what I said. Go release your dog in the wild and see how long he lasts - is his quality of life really better than when you looked after him?
Farm animals will become extinct or have worse quality of life than they do now because they are too dependent on us.
Fyi India has tigers and cows die all the time.
