2018 has to be the worst year for RSPS' so far.

It's extremely frustrating.

We are, what..? 54 days in and I am STILL hunting for a server released in 2018 worth putting my time into.

We have several project threads of upcoming servers which look to be absolutely staggering in quality and game play experience. Everything else that's been properly released (if you could call it that) in 2018 has been a case of download and host repeatedly.

Can someone please release something of decent quality, I'm not even seeing nicely edited download & host simplicity any more for Christ's sake.

Please, someone... I beg you :aware:!

P.S. OS Royale release was fun & the very short beta of Overload was too but both need more work IMO.

You're asking us to release early yet you want the servers to have high quality. Do you see the dilemma here? Most of the staggering projects that you see right now haven't been in works for long enough, I think I speak for more than just my own project when I say we don't feel like there's enough content for players to enjoy. It takes a long time to write high quality content, this is the stuff that separates us from the rest. A nice example in this case would be warriors guild that I wrote. On majority of the servers, it's very basic. To write that basic warriors guild, you need no more than two hours. I spent two days writing my warriors guild.
Quality requires a sacrifice. I can assure you though, when the time does actually come for these high quality servers to release, some of the existing top ones will have to give in their spots.

Anyways, there are multiple potential projects in the works but as Kris mentioned, quality requires hard work, dedication and a lot of patience. There are multiple projects that are "Good Quality" and would entertain the typical RSPS player without being the typical leech. Some examples are [Only registered and activated users can see links. Part of the reason why I'm no longer playing RSPS's. I started playing OSRS a few months ago and it's pretty fun imo. Grinding on something that will eventually get shutted down just makes me feel like I'm wasting my time. Even though, a few RSPS's are looking decent, like previously mentionned above, you should give them a go when they are out to the public.

Subscribe to didyscape or Sprad on youtube and whatever server they play you should play.
