I find myself asking this question to myself all the time. I have come to the conclusion that life is simply like a RSPS, for what reason do we play rsps (or any game?), we know that work will lead to greater achievement (Skilling), and it's fun to take risks (pking). I think the people you meet make it worth a while after you've done your skilling and pking, this is what veteran players do they speak to others, telling them about the times they had fun on the RSPS. Life is the same, you live through some amazing experiences and live to tell others about them, then you just do a drop party before you quit (die), now some new player is using your items, you have just left a legacy on the server you played.
