But there is a cap to your download speed by your ISP right?

Http downloads on a fast server should be able to reach that cap easier than torrents. No matter how many seeders there are, there is a limit to your download speed. For me, it is 400kbps. Http downloads allow me to reach that cap and maintain that speed easily.

Furthermore, most good(popular) torrents are populated with leechers and most people don't seed, resulting in reduced speed for the leechers, resulting in reduced speed of your own download.

What about through a download manager? I get only about 100kb/s with Azureus but 400kb/s with IDM
