That's like saying all RSPS related things could fit under a single thread. As there is much to be discussed about anime in general, a small sub-board is the least we could expect. You could just throw it under "Television and Film" and forget about it while making quite a few members of this forum happy.
So then why add more? Anime could easily fit into a megathread under media or chat.
