same we are also attempting to make a c++ client so we can intergrade it with some other engines and apply different lightings etc but atm its all server sided stuff being done. The goal: realease ryuuken to replace pi because pi is shit
Very true. With WilderCress, we're writing everything from scratch, which is doing two things: Helping us actually learn, and maintaining stability in the code since it's being written correctly. It's not just some content pilled onto other content that was written incorrectly in the first place. Plus, it's not PI. lol
agreed I looked at the actual core of the server and it wasnt exactly stable. I mean the thing we are doing with Ryuu is making sure the server load can handle anything and is min useage. Start up on an I5 processor is 1.2 seconds and its loading All npc Data, Items, Clipping, Projectile, Players, Extra Content, maps you name it stable + cotent is better then content and okay stability. Plus alot of its actual methods are extremely simlier to pi on his source soooo yeah noobs will be noobs
It's just that people don't understand what a good source is these days. Just because it has content, doesn't make it a good source.
