Brushing up my drawing/painting skills. Done on a shitty 15*15cm graphis tablet.

    Not entirely done yet.

This was actually the same subject as my first digital painting! I may repaint it and post the differences.
This is good though the hanging vines don't look as though they're affected by the same gravity. Also, the vines need a few shadows on the stone to appear less flat. Only subtle ones, though.
May I ask what program you used to do this?
    hydrascape, soulsplit, menacescape

Photoshop, used standard brushes which made it a little more difficult.

Well, using default Photoshop brushes is the most common thing, it's actually more difficult using different brushes lol

    OT: Looks great!

Not entirely true. There's a lot of brushes for photoshop specifically designed for digital painting which requires less detailed strokes than with standard brushes.

Well, I've been watching speedarts of digital painting with commentary and they recommend starting with the default brushes as it makes the process much easier, but I'm assuming it's just personal preference.
I'm in no position to say so; I don't even own a tablet yet

You going to be updating this? As you stated that it's "not yet finished".

It looks pretty, but how is this classified as "large art"?

Classified it as such since the main show case section mostly contains tags.
