Not stolen. But however had inspiration.

Don't expect much CnC which is fine and I don't care to hear it from people that are going to be negative about it, as I will now just post in depth of me making the work to show people I'm not always a yoinker or person that has interest stealing artwork and majority of things I do work for graphic department are legitimately done by me. I rarely enjoy posting it for public to see just for the simple fact nobody's going to have common courtesy to help you get successful. Regardless, I absolutely will continue to post until I've improved in gfx even if people don't like me. Keep the negative comments to yourself if you don't like it when its me doing it to you. Gotta keep the peace. Instigating me defeats the purpose.

I do keep customers updated as much as possible and take their opinions/change requests seriously to keep them informed its being done piece by piece so the work I do is legit in some cases.

Note: this is not a copy of zenytes logo and is not a gem stone.

Illustrator first:
Made the outlines using simple pen tool for straight lines.

Started to fill in areas using gradients.

Then to photoshop for the lettering.

made minor adjustments in styles for the mid section.

added glow over top followed by adding all layers in group then created clipping mask:

I made it high resolution so you can down size without it looking horrid.

Its so simple but I like it. Right now I am working on making more icon-based logos. Moral of the story this logo was made to be implemented into a loginscreen I am slowly working on day by day:

I recommend just making half then copying to the other side, this would be nothing to be ashamed of. Also ctrl+r for the ruler tool will help you with the symmetry. Text B&E is too harsh, seriously don't turn it all the way up, it ruins the text.

I'd be honest, ive never worked with rulers and need to start. How can I get the 3d feel without using B&E? One of the biggest struggles I have is finding the right font using these sites I know of to use then blending colors together but figuring out as I go how to use the gradients, patterns so on so forth which I guess more practice better I get.

Is there a way around it of not using this? This is where I try to aim for when it comes to text and why I try using B&E for the effect but if you know a trick of doing it without this style greatly appreciated :)

The style of the logo example above I absolutely enjoy working with. The only thing I wish I was better at, is coming up with designs for what I can use behind the text as I am not good with coming up with ideas for this scenario.

Again though I totally wish I can come up with a better concept for behind the text as I know they are plain. I can't get a good idea of what to do.

Yeah from now I'm going to give some respect except for those who choose to be ignorant, but for the most part I'll choose to ignore as this whole yanking gfx thing and the whole shadowpker meme is old. Thanks for your cnc, but I will post here still. Just because a few people don't like me, that is their own problem and I won't try and make them like me. If people stand by me, then they rock and I will greatly respect them and treat them with respect. Tousuki seemed to let it go over night, I wish you could to but that doesn't seem like it'll happen because you can't let things go like I can. It takes a real man to be able to do so.

I don't think I was bitching necessary in this topic, was just sharing my true work for once and still once again being shamed. It seems as though no matter regardless what piece I post, people will just say its stolen or not good enough because they don't like me and can't respect the fact I put effort into these things to get better when all they can do is hate.

I take back a lot of things I said to certain people because I know they aren't as childish to continue rambling on over the past. Please and thank you leave my post alone if you have nothing nice to say unless true cnc and helpful tips come out of your keyboard.

Why didn't you just use the polygon tool (under the rectangle tool) and add corners to it by the up_arrow key? This would result in even sides and corners. Didn't bother reading the drama, just giving you some feedback.

Probably gonna start using those tools more now that you mentioned that haha I had no clue they were there to be honest. I only knew of a few tools in illustrator

Normally I will make the base shape then use rectangle select box to clean the edges or well try to lol
