Good effort, could use some more work to be polished like some of the above comments mention.

Taking constructive criticism is a very important part of graphic design btw

I understand that, I don't try and be so rude back to the person but I don't know whether or not if they are bashing my work or trying to give advice, I'm bad for it..
I want solid advice to get better rather people bickering about little things ... how big a box is. I've never used Adobe after effects have 0 clue yet, would love to learn... but I am incredible time wise for taking a graphic and throwing it into a client, I'm good at that.. lol.

    Thanks for the comment.

Everyone has their own quality and this wasn't even fully completed hence the title 'currently designing', the owner was picky with the background. But why bring up my past work and nag about the tiny loginboxes yet the people who bought them actually really liked them, so what is the issue? Just because he doesn't like it, I should give up?

Sorry, I'll keep doing this hobby because I enjoy it.
Nobody said you should give up. Pretty sure he only brought up your past work because you posted it in this very thread to ”defend” critique that this piece of work received. I suggest you take a moment or two and read through your previous comments on this thread to see what led up to all of this. You seem confused, nobody is out to get you.

Honestly your right, I forgot I posted about my past work in the thread (page 1)... you got me there. Its been a long day so tired which is why im confused I think here.
Sorry, I just sometimes take criticism wrongly but do want to get better, just maybe not using the right tools or program? lol..

hmmm as said before by others for example Chance, the image itself with the Logo and log-in box seem to be just pasted on top of eachother.
I think you should try to add some kind of depth to the background to make the logo and box stand out more from it.
like a blur effect or maybe put a new layer onto the background fill it with black and lower the opacity to 15% to make it a lil darker.
You should experiment with it a lil I guess to see what goes best.

    overall looks alright.

PS: backing your current work with stuff you created in the past is never the right move. People give you critic for what they see in that given moment and not based on
other things you may have created in the past. You should always just read what people say, take it into consideration and move on. Arguing or trying to back yourself wont
bring anyone further not you or the one that gave you an opinion that was asked for by yourself.

I'm glad you decided to delete that comment. I was trying to help you.
    1) I'm not SOTM rank, nothing is temporary about this title unless I decide to stop visiting.
    2) Just because I don't post my work doesn't mean I don't do it. And I'm not going to act like I'm on a higher pedestal, like you seem to be.
    3) If you can't take criticism, you're in the wrong category.

I would argue, you are not good at it. And being able to do stuff in a fast timeframe makes you worse. Take your time so your work doesn't suffer. Go through multiple concepts before you pick what you want. I simply just want you to learn and be better. Hopefully you learn that in your next showcase topic, because I will be there. And I will criticize it, because there will always be room for improvement. If I posted my work here tomorrow, I would expect people to point out things they like, and things they don't. Some of which might be opinionated, but maybe not, and I'll appreciate what I get out of it. You should, too.

P.S. Unless you're planning to animate these backgrounds, no point in After Effects, just continue polishing your skills in Photoshop. One step at a time.

Thank you man, I deleted it because I shouldn't have posted in the first place and I'm sorry to take shots at you yesterday. I need to start taking criticism as a positive perspective rather lashing out and I'll take your word of advice and keep working with Photoshop and I'll lighten up on the flares.

I just always think when I do run my service, that people expect their login done in a fast frame hence the reason I rush, so quality is poor but if I could take longer I bet it'd come out sharp

(Artistic ) ego is something you should discard for a good amount of time when learning, It's rather toxic in my opinion and makes you stagnate in growth.
Although this is for anytihng in life, improvement will only occur when you yourself decided you're ready to.

You're way too fixated on the point "the box is too big" and neglect the other pointers that you could use and improve yourself with.
    Here's a rundown of what I would change and focus on with your next projects and some other advice;

    - Readability - What's the main thing you want to stand out?
    - Cohesion - Don't just put a background behind it and then the logo etc. and call it done.
    - No need to focus on how fast you deliver your piece, assuming you want to improve you'll go that extra mile.
Skill is what's going to make you faster and faster with your designs.

    - Charge an amount to your clients where you don't half-ass your work.
Charging a low price will make you more fed-up with the design, since you'll have the mindset "it's only 10$ anyway" or "I did it in 30 mins last time, now it's already been an hour".

    - Aim higher than rune-server : )

    Anyway, good luck
