Logotype idea: A shield that means Guardian, this thing inside is G, and background inside of shield is IPS logo.

that theme is missing too many elements and would become confusing af. too much whitespace, no clear indicator of where anything starts and finishes, looks awful

Agreed with this on your theme. A lot of floating text.
As for the Chakra theme... really not feeling it at all. The drained yellow with the vibrant purple. I'm also just not feeling the layer styles used - I believe I've seen you use it before. The logo font is awkward, and I know you were going with sharp to play on the name of the theme, but it just didn't work to your advantage here. Could use more padding throughout the design as well.
Also, aligning your navigation with your container would look a ton better as well. The user navigation is a very odd shape, maybe if you just rounded it off normal at the end rather than it being a distorted like shape.
