I'm not sure if it's because of how bright my monitor is, because when I was working it seemed well lit until I put it against a brighter background, I have a put a brighter version in the spoiler below if that improves it in any way for you and others.

However, there's not a lot of character to it. I don't know what the focal point is, i think it's the castle. Your bottom surfaces where the 2 people stand have no texture, it would be nice to see a congruent rocky theme there.

Yea, it was really not what I wanted to make but just turned out this way. My initial plan was a huge skeleton army planning to storm the castle, my initial name for it was "preparing for war". Actually I was playing around with the ground texture for so long I just said "fk it, it's sand now, I cba" . I will look back on it though, I have no issues revisiting stuff I complete.
