Now people like me who have not can't see you're improvement. Like he stated I'd defintely suggest keeping one thread to show your progress as you get better and better, it makes for a way better thread all in one.

Looks thrown together, the blues don't match up the text is off.

I like it but I feel as though the text-type is fighting against the icon. I also feel that the 'M' font should be the same for both as being separated you could think it's a different logo?

Maybe make the bottom text smaller to fit underneath the icon so there's a hierarchy, or only use them separately (or side-by-side).
Other than that, I like the clean look.

meh. Looks super basic. It's just a text and a google image with blending options. You added some spikes behind the shield but it isn't enough to make it look appealing for me. You could do much better.
