I was a little worried about posting these. Mainly because i've had someone recently stealing
my designs. I am in love with what i've done here. It is truly amazing work in my eyes.
I've opened a new way to design for myself and look forward to future designs not just with this
project but with others as well. I really hope you like it. I know I do with the time that I devoted to
this. Please leave your comments and thoughts below. Thank you!
This is by far your best work! You are showing tons of improvement and it seems like you have gotten a lot better at blending things and making them fit in with the theme. I am a huge fan of the borders. One thing that I am not a fan of is the blue login bars. It does not match the theme, I would go with a similar greenish yellow you used on the logo for them. Nice work Kai! Cant wait to see more from you.
Should watermark your designs maybe to reduce the chance of stealing them.
OT: I personally love these as well nice job!
Very nice work Kai! Looks really awesome! Love that green tones and the blending of everything looks fine
1. You really don't need to watermark these tbh, not to that extent... People are not going to steal an entire loginscreen as they would need to slice it up anyway, and if they go through all that effort to do it, then my god, they can keep a loginscreen design...
2. Can you showcase the various layers you have used? I am not sure what I am looking at which you may have done that wasn't already... created.
Feedback/Criticism:
Not a fan of the buttons. Text looks like its overlayed infront of the button, when if anything, should look like it is part of the button itself. I would have spaced the letters out as well since its barely legible on the smaller ones. I personally would have liked to have seen more variances for the borders of each major element, rather than the same vines with the same color and tone (Don't think the login box really needs it tbh). I would have made the brick stocks resized to match the UI a bit more as well, they seem too large for what they're trying to be shown as, as well as the fact that you've used different ones giving a different stylistic approach that doesn't flow as well. The blue one for the login box doesn't really make sense at all. There is a random light source on it which not only doesn't match the colour scheme you were going for and isn't the style you were going for either. There are too many inconsistencies for me in the design. I would have approached this by making the logo itself stand out, and kept the surrounding UI more cleaner and less populated with effects.
Exhibit A:
Spoiler for 1:
Do not overdo it with watermarks.
Colors are cool, nice synchronization.
Definitely one of the better arts you've done.
Greetings
I am very curious to know what resources you utilized in this work, because there's a wide range of different skill levels throughout this design. The crack placement on those buttons look a lot like Evil-S's tbh.
Those watermarks are way too powerful. As Authentic said, there's no point. But if you insist, the smallest amount of opacity on that layer should do the watermark justice. I mean like 3% max.
I think these were the buttons that Chance was referring to:
Spoiler for buttons:
Edit: I dont think theres anything wrong with using free assets, however, if you're going to post your work publically, people will call you out on it. I know from personal experience. Feel free to use them to inspire you or help you understand how they were made. Probably not a good idea either to use them for selling purposes, especially if your client isn't aware of it.
