I'm back, with a new way of doing things. This is the longest time I've ever worked on a tag, 4 hours - as opposed to 1 hour 99% of the time.

Still thinking about making some changes.

Very nice work! What changes do you plan on making?

    This:

The shoulder armor's quality was ruined, so I quickly went over it.

Edit: I also need to fix the blur on the ground. It got too much contrast and I didn't see it once I finished it.

Would you mind going a little over the process in creating a piece like this? I'd love to see a small layer breakdown.

It still looks like the chest and shoulder quality is kinda low, also there some blur issues (the tiles on the left).

    but overall neat piece!

I'll start by posting the stocks and the render I used. I first started with Baldur from God of War with his back turned and added Kratos's body to it. I couldn't find the tree stock I used, though.

Lots and lots of burning and dodging, but the clone stamp tool was like my best friend here.

I agree, I'm going to have to back over the floor pieces a little bit more and it'll be more complete.

If you pentooled some definition into the lower-quality areas + maybe shrunk down the canvas a little bit, then perhaps focused more on the lighting/depth I think you could really transform this piece to really stand out!
    Identity inherits limitation, therefore sacrifice.
