ui update:
Like this
best of luck slyther.
gl u seem to finally be clicking with this
one thing id like to add is that for things as private as invoices and whatnot, i believe its important for the field these things are managed in seem secure, visually. its important for the user to feel like what theyre using was not rushed and is reliable and sturdy
that being said, gj in covering the bases u were previously lacking in, ur much closer to hitting the nail on the head with this
(((edit)))[https://i.imgur.com/7yFvJ1N.png their arms seem a lil too long]
its good to do this tho, nitpicking in this case is just focusing on what matters the most so yea i encourage that kind of criticism
Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it.
Yeah haha I'm soon gonna be having a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet. Which I will be using to practice professional illustrating, while I learn UI design and animating for prototypes. I got till September to learn a shit ton before I start year 1 Graphics in uni.
As for the Dashboard, i could perhaps make the invoices and the accounting pages require a password. So when you hover over it, a password input appears. Not sure though, haven't thought about it much, but i'm sure there are many ideas and ways to make it secure in a appropriate visual and UX way.
if u can somehow cram it into ur budget i stronggggly recommend going th extra mile for a cintiq, i only have a 12wx but it is so far over the ease-of-use threshold with the on-screen workspace, but then again i sometimes find myself preferring my old bamboo create just because it is much more comfortable, so yeah the new intuous's are definitely on my wishlist
good luck in those courses, i was going to try them out but im going into video/visual/photog/etc production veins of academics instead, and yeah i like the password required at that step as well but its a gamble of whether it will be too clunky nd its easy to lose all credibility for convenience at that point so be very careful how you implement it. id say ui is definitely dependent on psychology or whatever
Oh I see, the cintiq is 650 pounds, which is quite expensive. In future i'll see what happens though. My budget is almost about to hit the Wacom Intuos Pro which im excited to get like I said.
As for the password, i'll still explore my options for it. Pretty sure there is a good way to execute that method of security without affecting the UX of users. Yes indeed it is about Psychology as well.
I wish you a goodluck too!
