nothing less of amazing my man
I usually don't like pieces like this, but the atmosphere is very nice. It gives me a warm feeling, like coco on Christmas, kind of.
The strong points of this piece, aside from the obvious atmospherical aspects, would be the orbs of light. I understand that they're not supposed to be used so much as lighting as an effect, correct? They're very interesting and the color choices have been chosen nicely. Another thing I'm accustomed to with this style is a strong distaste for the depth. I hate that there always seems to be 2 planes of depth, instead of multiple fields. However through color fading, opacity and blurring you've created multidimensional depth which is something I don't see very often with this style. Kudos on that.
I don't see much wrong with it, however every piece has it's downfall. The darkening of this, which I realize is a grunged style of lighting, is too "pointy". It's almost like you burnt a piece of the tag(literally, not with the tool). I'd try making the transition to darkness more gradual and smooth. Then again, that's just what I see and I can't really tell if that'd help unless I saw it myself.
I can't think of what's wrong, which means you've done great on this. Good work and KIU.
P.S: I like V2 more, it has softer lighting, which helps the atmo imo.
Love it.
