Are you on about recording or video-editing?

For recording a RSPS, Fraps is the best.
For editing, just use Vegas or AAE

Camtasia 8 is probably the most user friendly recording and editing software. Its not the most user friendly on your computer. (its intensive on your GPU and CPU)

So you're trading up a loseless codec and synced frames for what? Dxtory is another alternative but you aren't using that either. Camtasia is a screen recorder, so whatever you produce is going to be awful in the end. Fraps is a game recoded, it records the game.
    What am I watching now?
