RSPS is like a win-win situation, if Runescape goes off everyone will move to RSPS. If Runescape grows, more potential rsps players.
RSPS will never die, and that's factual.

A lot of people went back to Oldschool after its release.
RSPS isn't really dying anymore, it's just not growing and players are spread over quite a bunch of servers.
I'm pretty sure that when OSRS dies out private servers will be huge again though
Rsps has been stable for the last few years. Some people come while others leave
It died long time ago...
what are you on about?Quote:

just look at the playerbase these servers have. Don't talk shit when you have no clue of what ur talking about. Runescape Private Servers won't die anytime soon, and that's just a fact.
Thread: Are Rsps's dying?
no boy, rsps is evolving
Rsps fans and community are suffering of the shit rsps in the past years..zenyte and alora are crafted well but they are not balanced thats why i call them dead.servers with no pk! Man.Quote:

And the N.1 server now (zenyte) is with 200players online and no body is pking
200 is at lower times, peaks are upwards of 400.Quote:

But yes, no true economy server will have pking in 2019. Pkers aren't going to waste an entire week collecting gear just to lose it in a warm-up fight.
As long as RS3 continues to run off players we wont die any time soon. Fact of the matter is Jagex ruined Runescape when they made their update in 2008 and it just has not been the same since.
And believe it or not, a lot of these big servers aren't as big as they seem. Most people have several accounts, and also you are not taking into account how many bots these servers have. The amount of bots is unreal. But RSPS are very well known to be a testing ground for botters to test scripts they will be using on OSRS or RS3.
As mentioned before, the community is getting older & older, become more professional and probably won't have the time anymore to play games due to having a job or a family.
There might be a few who stuck around, but as of right now the scene doesn't really introduce something new, unlike Exora.
To pull more players to the scene some people need to stop being money wolves and actually care about their community.
Introduce what we all loved & played instead of recycling junk content.
The scene started dying when people couldn't deliver what they promised or started caring about the money rather than the game.
It's so simple to pull more players, only issue is the money & Jagex.
If the whole scene started doing marketing outside RSPS then the scene would grow immediately, but as I said, Jagex will be there to anal fuck us all.
We just need something that reminds most people of the good old days and go on from there.
If a player would join this community, everything they'll see is the same ass content like any other server or some half-assed shit.
There are 2 many money grab servers and 2 few that actually care about their game.
All we need to do is team up people!
