I only voted no because I personally will not download a 3gb private server, if I really wanted to have fun playing such content, I'd play rs3. I'm guessing there's quite a few people out there that feel the same way.

as the demand progresses I suspect it will Ones more flourish. as some known Developers are now making new content for it. old will still remain popular but i suspect the demand for higher revisions will increase. and flourisch

My opinion is that any server can get to top. You just have to advertise and manage it well. Keep it running steady and bring updates. Most are OSRS, but it's getting too much now. Personally I think that those custom servers like dreamscape are very shit, but congratulations on getting that far. That's why I think any kind of private server could reach the top.
    Thanks, MrClassic.

Not what so ever. I have yet to see a server with a higher revision successfully intergrate new content.
And the problem with the RSPS community is that most of us are old vets who left runescape when it got bad.

Not a whole lot of people like the newer style RS and it just seems logging into one these days are so confusing with the changes RS made that I am sure many people on the RSPS community have yet to explore.

Give this dude a pint. Any server can be successful. Like many others said, it takes time, hard work and a fuck ton of money investing in the server. You must create something unique, something that stands out from the rest but like someone else said on this thread, sadly. RSPS are dying and its true, the younger generation will not take over as this game is long gone imo. Fortnite, PUBG, hell there a fuck ton of new games that are out..

onto the topic of is it worth creating. Yes.. I love 718/742 pre-eoc servers, they stand out to me more than OSRS - 317 and EOC servers.
    Spoiler for sig too large:

With correct marketing, you don't really even need high revision anymore, it can be either low or high, that being said RSPS is clearly dying at this point.
    Thanks,

    Everything RS related is dying

Topic : mr Classic hit the nail on the head with what he said. The main issue with the RSPS scene is everyone has different tastes. There’s really no right or wrong revision to host. If you have the means host multiple
