Hi, I have had two bulletin board votes in the past, this being my third. I am making this final one with my final choices too see which I should use for my up coming website, [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]...
Once the poll gets a reasonable amount of votes I will pick the board with the most votes.
BB's Explained
SMF (Simple Machines Forum) [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]- SMF has been around for a log time. Over the beginning years it had LOTS of updates, modifications, and skins released.
phpBB 2 & 3 (php Bulletin Board) [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]- phpBB is one of the longest lasting bulletin board EVER made. It has had three versions all ending up with amazing features and publicity. Although phpBB doesn't offer the best modifications or skins, the board feature is one of the best ever made.
MyBB (My Bulletin Board) [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]- Most of you probably haven't EVER heard of MyBB. The same goes with me... I uncovered this work of art just a few weeks ago. Over the time I have known it I have learned much about it. MyBB has been around just as long as SMF. It doesn't have many modifications or skins, but for the ones it does have they are pretty good. The MyBB board takes after a futuristic design in my point of view.
