In a calorie deficit I like to do 20% fats 40%carbs 40%protein. so say you're doing a 2k calorie diet you should aim for 44grams of fat 200grams of carbs and 200grams of protein. You can always play around with the macros but try to keep the protein on the high side now you can pretty much eat whatever the fuck you wan't as long as you don't go over 2k calories and you fit whatever you eat into your macros. ENJOY.
listen to this man if you wanna loose 1 pound a week find your maitnance and take 500 calories off of each day and do a 40/40/20 split and if you wanna loose 2 pounds take 1k calories off a day if you need help pm me ill give you my skype and ill help you along your way and DO NOT WATCH MIKE CHANG HES AN IDIOT WHO JUST WANTS TO SELL YOU HIS "MAGIC RED SHIT" lol.

Well, for starters you have to acquire what you want your goal to be, which you've done. Your goal weight is 175. Just know, the more muscle you have, the faster you will be able to burn body fat. I recommend a high amount of cardiovascular type exercises almost every day. Obviously, you will have to take rest days in order to allow your muscles to recover and rebuild to be bigger and stronger. Therefore, if you want to see a higher amount of results, simply workout anywhere from 3-5 times a week depending on how good your diet is, and do cardio atleast 5 times a week to really cut those unneeded calories.

Now, as I was reading, I saw a couple people try to say your diet will be boring. Your diet DOES NOT have to be boring in the slightest. You just have to make sure it doesn't go over the amount of fats, proteins, carbs and fats that your trying to reach. Also, make sure you have 1 set cheat meal. Normally, when I'm trying to gain muscle/weight, I'll go ahead and have a full cheat day to eat as I please. BUT, considering your situation where you're trying to lose as much fat as you can to really reach that 175 pound goal, you need to make sure and keep it to a cheat meal every week. Say, have one every Sunday for your 12 o'clock meal or whatever. I also recommend you make this a meal on an off-day. Your diet can really determine how good your workout is that day, as it's what gives you the energy to do what you need to do in the gym.

When you're trying to cut weight and you're lifting weights, keep your volume and your reps high. Make sure you do heavy workouts on occasion as well, but make sure you fatigue your muscle as much as possible. And to do this and burn as many calories as possibly, do a lot of reps on your sets with a little lighter weight then what you would normally do. I also recommend a lot of drop sets. If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot me a private message, I would be happy to help you reach your goal as fast and effectively as possible.

Good luck my friend, I wish you the best.

Not eating after 6 is a really good way to start, helps the digestive system.

ALSO: Intermittent fasting. This is a good way to really cut weight fast, but it's very difficult to get your workout in. Simply pick a time (preferably after 3 PM), and don't eat before that. After that time period is up, get all of the macros you need that day. MAKE SURE you do not have your meals to close together, or your body will not be able to digest all of the necessary nutrients.

Low carbs is a myth and a bad one.. I'm eating 350g carbs a day and still remaining lean

It's probably because you spend a good amount of time at the gym burning off the energy carbohydrates provide your body. If you consumed that many carbs in a day with minimal to no exercise each day, it's very likely they'll be converted to fats unless you have an insanely high metabolism.

@ kiler that is true should consume around 60% of daily carbs around your workout (via pre meals post meals and an intra carb sup) should have 30% upon waking to boost metabolism in the AM or break your fast literally
and the other 10% throughout the day

Your blood pressure lowers, meaning everything within goes into a slower effect, any food eaten within a period of time before won't be fully digested until you wake up.
