The music section saddens me no ones posted a thread about this, so how about it? Give some feedback.

Just one of few majestic songs from the album.

I really enjoyed the album personally. He took a whole different approach and I think he did a nice job on every song on the album.

The beats aren't hot but as always, kendrick lamar proves he's one of the worlds best lyricists.

The lyrics are annoying as shit, the beat..well there's not a lot of bad things to say except just a shame it had a shitty rapper to go with it in this song at least.

It's a very deep album, but I felt he was trying to get more of a message across than tell a story so it was kind of dull for me. It's not something I could listen to over and over again like Good Kid Maad City.

He went far to the intellectual side on this album, and proved himself to be a better lyricist than 2012. I do feel he is the only one who could pull off this type of album though.

He was singing this album it seemed like too, not rapping which made it a little hard to finish.
    back at it.

Definitely not as good kid mAAd city but unique to it's own ways, like there was an excerpt about him bringing back the west vs east coast rapping grudge but he undermined that after jay mentioned how the control verse shook up the rap industry... erm.. also I find that this album story line isn't as strong as good kid at the ending of each track he adds a little piece to the overall moral of the album but it all works towards the ending tracks.. that interview with 2Pac was definitely worth the wait.

9/10 Just because he's doing this with no heavyweight features.. Anna Wise was great but she's no Drake or Dre.
