Not sure what your knowledge of music is, but I suggest (if you haven't already) to learn the basics of musical theory. In the standard level one theory you should learn about rhythms, different types of notes (quarters to 16ths I believe), key signatures, and intervals (Minor 2nd, Major 2nd, Minor 3rd, Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, Augmented 4th/Diminished 5th (or as some call it the "tri-tone"), minor 6th, major 6th, minor 7th, major 7th, and the 8ve (octave). I highly recommend learning this because your melodies seem to use odd intervals that don't really sound pleasing to the ear.
If you learn:
Major/Minor chords
Key signatures
Rhythms
Intervals
Harmonies (Minor 3rd or Minor 6th intervals)
and some basic composition techniques it will really pay off in the end. Good luck though, it sounds good for your first!
