Thread: how to scam on rune-server

step 1 - promote you are selling a service
step 2 - get vouches from known members
step 3 - scam people for money
step 4 - keep scamming people, people aren't aloud to actively say they were scammed by a certain someone, but scammers can keep scamming??

On rune-server it's impossible to actually get banned for scamming other users so don't be surprised if you get scammed on here, rune-server isn't what it use to be..

I've seen the same person I reported for scamming, scam 3 other people since the report, and he still is on this forum actively scamming people, great community

people with tons of vouches from people high up doesn't make it stupid to trust in them lol?

i'm not annoyed about losing money, jus annoyed that nothing is done against the person scamming and continuing to scam on these forums actively

I agree, however vouches are meaningless and always have been, that's why dedicated vouch threads are not allowed.

At the end of the day it's still down to users to make sure they don't get scammed and take proper precautions.

But it should be the user that scams gets banned right lol, if there is extensive info providing proof that they scammed it should be looked into

It just seems they don't want to look into these cases perhaps it'd take them to long idk.. But they are very quick to give me warnings etc when I post in reply to the scammers post trying to warn other users

Let's say you had a services thread and someone reported you for scamming and accuses you on your thread. Wouldn't you be annoyed if that person was completely talking out their ass? My point is when the moderators deal with it, said scammer will be punished eventually. Don't know why you've got hard on for retribution or care about other people being scammed as there's nothing you can do about it.

Understand people that get falsely accused shouldn't be banned lol..

But there are now several people scammed by this one person from Rune-Server and he continues to be allowed to sell services?

I care because it's not fair to people to have money stolen from them when they are paying for a "service", if I sold you a service and then blocked you would you not be frustrated that 1, I scammed you, and 2, I continue to scam other inoccent people? Unless you are saying that scamming is fine and isn't a big deal people being scammed lol?
