    simulation.java code - im half way thru stucked professor isn't the best at explaining so I would appreciate some help I am just trying to learn.

    Can't you post a brief description of the general problem and at what part you get stuck?
    I very much doubt anyone here has the time (or is willing to spend his or her time) to first unravel, to then complete your homework assignment.

    I probably wont be much help, I don't know, maybe if you gave a brief description of how you're stuck.

    The true point of my comment though is to ask...
    Why have you created that class and all those methods for handling the date? Did your instructor insist upon this, or?
    Basically, why don't you use java.util.Date?
