    2c) What simple test could be used to prove that lithium is a metal? You should describe the test and the result you get for a metal.

    WTFH4X? How would I answer this?

    Make it react with other elements and if they act accordingly to the characteristics of a metal, then its a metal
    retired from RSPS for good

    Ok, three ways:

    1. Electric conductivity. Run a current through it, find out how many electrons it conducts.

    2. Innate Magnetism. All metals are ferromagnetic, which means they're big ass permanent magnets.

    3. Oxides. Take the oxides, see how they react to different substances along the pH scale, from acids to bases

    Not true, aluminum is just one example of a nonferrous-metal.

    But it would be correct to say they influence a magnetic field.
