Thread: Has Covid-19 affected RSPS revenue?

I'm sure the player base has increased due to people having to stay at home.

However are players less likely to spend money, since so many are jobless right now?

Let's cut to chase and end the discussion here; It affected revenue positively for all servers, quite marginally actually.

I actually was not expecting that. I assumed people would be frugal with their money during this time.

Video games in general are huge right now, the industry is booming because everyone is stuck at home.

Where are your numbers coming from? Just your own server?

OT:
I have had the exact opposite experience from what Kris said and have heard players talking about donating less or not at all due to being laid off their jobs from the covid-19. I also don't see how covid-19 could positively affect revenue for any industry other than necessities. Yeah more people are home with nothing else to do but most of these same people are going broke by not being at work, for me personally unemployment wouldn't even cover all my bills luckily enough I had money saved up to help but it wasn't suppose to be for bills obviously.

Us Americans don't know what to do with this stimulus check, so we all collectively as a country decided to invest it into RSPS account builds.
