The idea of creating something of my own for sure. The fact that I was creating something to implement into the game I grew up on just made it easier to pursue. After the early stages tho, what kept me around was my ability to learn new things and become better at programming. Them dopamine releases were key.

confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question.”

I liked rsps and used to play it all night even in my school days.
Then I wanted to have that feeling of becoming a owner of a server.
So understanding the way the game works, it got me into eventually creating my own one

A irl friend got me into rs back in like 2006 or so, and one day I was at his house and he showed me his own copy, then he got me into rsps and was like hosting a czar server and shit and I was like "yo make me one? teach me?" he's like you gotta figure it out yourself (he was a dick I was like 10 I think and he was like 14) so I started researching and figured out about czar and mopar servers, hosted my first one from a 512mb ram windows xp computer hahaha. I was 10 so I didn't start learning to program till I was about like 12/13 is when I started to dabble. I did have 30+ though on a non touched source xD I was 10/11 was so crazy. Thats when I think Ari-scape or something was blowed up had like 400 players.

    BUT thats my beginning

making the sickest delta with skillcape emotes

this was back when the most extensive programming I did was using a command generator. now I can make them all by myself!

Had never given much thought as to how computer programs are made, until I had an "introduction to computer programming" class in my Space Engineering course in university.

I fell in love with it.

Dropped out of engineering to study computer science (more precisely, data science).

It was pretty simple actually, I wanted to play an RSPS but couldn't find a server I liked, so I took some time and learned how to make my own.

    Loved RS.
    Eventually started playing rsps.
Downloaded a source with a bunch of instructions on how to run it not knowing anything about code and started playing around and breaking it until i eventually had an idea of what i was doing.
