So the thread is pretty open ended in terms of potential responses but I figured it might be a refreshing conversational topic.

What's the most primary goal in the longest term possible that you're aiming for? What motivates you and drives you towards this goal every day?

I suppose it'd be a bit one sided to not share mine first after asking such a hefty question:
Mine would be freedom. Not in the patriotic sense but rather the overcoming of the mind and the mechanisms in which impulsive reactions occur.

Finish my degree in veterinary science and move up to a vet position soon working with owners and their animals is really motivating and the satisfaction you get keeps me going, i don't really have a philosophical life goal though, good luck with your goals!

    Long Term Goal?
Be as good of a father to my children as my father was to me and love my family unconditionally.

Short term goal: Be successful so that I won't have to worry about money later in life for my family.

I basically want to finish my school (including my next study; comminication & multimedia design) and get a job I like.
When I wake up I want to be hyped to go to work and create new things.
Next to that I hope I can earn a good amount of money so I can do whatever I want, however I think that money isn't the most important thing to have (it is important though), I just want to do things I like.

Sounds like a great overarching goal to have

100% agree on money isn't the most important thing to have, though it certainly creates more opportunities for the things that ARE important

I think in a sense your goal does align philosophically, just in a different form which is aligned with your own values!

Awesome to hear man, is your apprenticeship giving you a lot of hands on experience?

I guess my longest term goal is to be financially free. Other than that, I want to finish my computer science degree (3 years left) and finish coding the custom rsps that I have designed (1 year+).

I have no idea what I want to do with my life, I went to college doing something I hate, enjoyed for the first week, but then for 2 years hated it, but still got fully qualified. Now I have a decent paying job doing something I hate lmfao. But life rolls forward and you just stay positive lmfao.

If anyone wants to help out a young lad who hates his job and don’t know what he wants to do, feel free
