Hi, probably seen a topic similar to this but this isn't about which is better more like a clarification question. I was looking pros and cons of each and how they are different and did some job searching to see what the available jobs look like, using a website called glassdoor i searched computer science jobs and a lot of job opportunities came up but a lot of them for the title said Software Engineer. I've noticed that seems to be a common thing, so my question is even tho im looking for computer science jobs would the title of the job be called Software Engineer? Or are those supposed to be jobs more geared toward people with a Software Engineer degree? i know they are very similar and can almost be interchangeable but i just wasn't sure about this. Thanks for your time!

CS also known as computer science is usual a general-technology degree while Software Engineering is a more focused-role as a developer.

in reality you aren't going for a job titled "computer scientist" - CS as a degree gets you a software engineering job (or software developer, or any similar title)

Computer science is about taking complex problems and deriving a solution from math, science and computational theory.

Would think seeing the big picture how all things work together, might give an advantage...

Software engineering jobs focus more on development while computer science jobs can also focus on academic research. As for degrees go, with a computer science degree you would be able to do both of these jobs but with a software engineering degree you wouldn't be able to take on every computer science job.
