Managed to end up making a decent salary from OS-Scape, met a girl I ended up seeing, travelling halfway across the globe to Canada to hook up with my boy Situations, got a car, driver's license, and hopefully soon a house if it works out the way I want to.

Preface - I don't think I ever talked to most of you prior to this thread, but it's still nice to hear about other people's progress! Hopefully I can get to know some of you along the way here in the community.

I graduated high school - one semester early, to clear any confusion - in December of 2015. The following semester, I attended a community college in my area, but was only able to take one class due to some mishaps with the transcript software for early graduates. This fall - right now - I was able to take four classes to really kick my college career into high gear: Calculus I, General Chemistry I, Rhetoric II, and History of Religion. I'm doing fairly well in those classes and can't wait for next semester!

I continued pursuing my job as a librarian here in my town. Not only do I get to help people (little old ladies are my favorite) with all sorts of research and projects, but I also get to design graphics for our events and amenities. It's pretty sweet! I make $3.00 above minimum wage in my state, Illinois, and I only just graduated high school.

I've been dating the same girl for the past 4 years, so there's no news there, just continual happiness. We took our first trip together on our four year anniversary to Kansas City, Missouri. For any of those who ask, this was not my first pick for an ideal vacation spot, but it was the only close "vacation spot" that would allow an 18 year old to get a room. I tried for Memphis, Chicago, Minneapolis - even New York. The only hotels that would allow anyone under the age of 21 to check into a room were highly expensive hotels ($500+ a night in Chicago / NYC) or very low quality motels. Either way, it wasn't ideal. We're hoping to continue our relationship and get married soon after we finish college!

Lastly, I built a new computer around Christmastime of 2015, but have since decided to upgrade again this Christmas. I opted for lesser hardware due to budget restrictions at the time, but hope to build a new one soon. I have an AMD FX-8350 paired with an Asus Strix R9 390, but I'm planning to eventually upgrade to an i7-6700k paired with a GTX 1080. Do I need it? Probably not. Does the thought of that raw power make me moist? Absolutely.

Sorry this was such a long post, but as I said, hopefully I have the pleasure of getting to know some of you along my journey!

Pissed around my last year of high school, fucked around all summer (although I did work ~30-40 hours a week all), saved up some money, and now I'm starting a co-op placement at a welding job site for half the day, building hours towards an apprenticeship. It's tons of fun, but also incredibly difficult to do well, which is what I love about it. Whatever I've put my mind to in the past, I've excelled at greatly - I don't plan on making any exceptions now.

Essentially the placement is half-day from 8-11:30, then I go back to school for a welding class in the afternoon. Second semester of school I'm hoping to land a full-day placement (~8-3) while still working my part-time job evenings/weekends. After this year I'm looking for the company I'm doing my placement with to offer an apprenticeship, in which I go to school for 2 years September-April (while still working at the job site in the summer and my days off school probably) then return to work after those 2 years.

I have a girlfriend, a car, a part-time job outside of my welding placement/school, and it's shaping up really nicely. I spend like 1/10th the time on this site that I did before and it's such a difference maker believe it or not. Wasted so much fucking time here but I'm glad things are still turning out for me thus far.

Pounded the fucking pavement all throughout high school figuring out what I wanted to do. Applied at various colleges for various programs related to Fitness/Health, Construction, and finally right around the end of my senior year I found out about welding co-op placements, the apprenticeship possibilities, etc., and welding was a particular interest of mine for a long while, I just had no idea how to get into it.

Got a girlfriend, we've ended up getting a duaghter just 8 months ago.

Lost my job at a storage facility due to a shoulder injury (good bye 2.5k / month salary ).

Girlfriend got cured of cervix cancer last month.

Just moved back to my home-town, I've been living in different town for the past two years, so its good being close to family again and my daughter gets to spend more time with her grandmother (Which I think my mom appreciates alot).

Currently working on a RSPS, been hosting two different rsps' within the last 6 months both averaging over 150 players, racking in a decent salary.

Not too sure about that, it's at 0 . It would have to go minus to even be remotely close to his IQ.

June 2016 I got accepted to a university for Graphics Design, a decent university. Met great people and started learning allot more about Graphics.

Finished my foundation year and i'll be starting year 1 as of September 2017. Looking forward to it and im excited. Will be looking for a UI/UX Design internship for Christmas too.

Currently working on becoming decent at illustrating, bought a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet, a new laptop, and i'm all good.

Working on becoming a UI/UX Designer as that is my chosen path, good life
