Thread: First car ideas?

Hey

Max_'s thread got me thinking about this as well. I live in the U.S. (Texas) and was wondering if anyone in that general area has an idea for a car that won't cost 6 legs to insure.

Not worried about the price of the car, my mom will be paying the car note. I have to pay for insurance, no matter what car it is. Don't want to spend a whole lot on insurance but it has to be full coverage.

edit: i'll be 18, no sports cars please, maybe coupes.

God no, lol. Not looking for a sports car. A coupe, maybe. And anyway, I don't know if you know but insurance on an 18 year old in a brand new 2016 sports car is insane. Like 500$ a month insane.

Just get a used Civic or something. Something good on gas that you won't have to pay a lot for. Something cheap to get you from point a to b.

Yeah, the car will be used. New car insurance is fucking insane as well. I don't mind the car costing between $10-15K, I just don't want to pay a lot on insurance because that's out of MY pocket

true but the fact that it has "Camaro" in the name is enough for them to give me hella stupid insurance.

edit: anyone know a lot about Mazda RX-8? Sexy car. 4 cylinder coupe.
