Thread: [REQ] Help with a Command Prompt...

Ok... i'll keep nice and simple, i am not sure if this is the right section (wasn't sure if i should have posted in programming, i didnt wanna get flamed).

This is my prob:

When I type "ipconfig" in the command prompt window, all it says is "Windows IP Configuration"...
I need to know my IP address and my MAC address so i can set my router to allow me into its DCHP Server.

Thanks in advance if ya can help... (SORRY if its in the wrong section, i just posted in OFF TOPIC, because it doesnt really relate to any other sections)

well for your ip address whatismyip.com and your mac address i dont know

I need the ip address "192.168.0.***" and The mac address is like **-**-**-**-**-**.

Thanks for trying anywayz, i need the ip address to get onto the internet anyway, so i cant visit that site with the pc... until i get those proper IP addresses. (Its my laptop)
