I'd personally go for the 2nd one, I think you can go to more directions than just mobile application development.

Was thinking the same thing but the thought of me helping a team develop apps and games for androids and Iphones has me thinking otherwise. Even making a game yourself and advertising it well, a lot of players are credit carders who will spend a nice chunk of change for say gold in game for an example. Thanks for your input though I appreciate it.

My personal opinion: none; you don't need college and/or a university to be successful in life. IMO, they're a waste of money and time. Though if you really want to, the 2nd one as it's a more then just mobile app development.

I understand that but with this it will open up more doors for me. I can still be successful without college but I'd rather do it this way now. I used to never do anything legit now it's time I want to and have a change in my life. Even though changing for the better could always benefit me later on I think it's the right choice at this time.

Just the experience of college would be enough to make me go, not to mention the fact that it does help you present yourself better, if only on paper. The second option seems more logical in the longrun.

Would definitely go with the second option.
Second one.
