I'm just curious of everyone's feats around here. I, myself am not talented with programming or anything like that, but I was wondering how I could become recognized within the community. I figured the best way to find out is to see what everyone else did for the community. It could be anything from releasing a few tutorials to programming a server.

So tell me, what have you done to be recognized within the community? (Serious replies only or I'm reporting for spam.)

Isn't this common sense? Contribute to the community in a positive way and don't start to act like a douche until you are considerably known (other douches hate it when new people act like douches).

No one should act that way..

I've flown under the radar around here. I joined years ago, and have recently picked up my activity. I as well have basically no knowledge of programming/java/etc. but I enjoy being around and people watching mostly.

Well, that question sort of ties in with the topic. I wanted to know what kinds of things you contributed to the community, like programming snippets, services, etc.

But you wanted to know this because you want more recognition that's why I stated that it is basically common sense. I am mostly active in the graphics section where I fulfill requests.

Just do the right things, compliment people, wish them good luck on there creations/projects and release some stuff of your own creations like graphic designs, or help someone with something they need help with. I'm trying to get above 100 rep. So far I'm close but it's getting for it to be hard to get 100 + rep :\

I'll start you off with a rep + thanks to get you going. Enjoy it.

You can start by being nice to the people, maybe by creating few tutorials of things that you know and show that you are trying,or even simply give nice feedback on peoples tutorials and show that you appreciate their hard work,

Just dont act to a fag,to nobody even if they act like a fag to you, just ignore it and act nicely and that will get you far not only on these forums but in life too

I'm not really recognized much, but I've done a bit of graphics requests for people.
