I hate the project too.. but no.
why would a bunch of people go out of there way to get vault unbanned on rune-server? i don't really see how even one person can be so dedicated to vault that they would knowingly use their own internet connection to help hit rune-server offline.
tbqh if the ddos is coming from rs2006 it's either through one of their own botnets, or through their own users unknowingly. i'm not sure if rs2006 is live but if it is then maybe they incorporated some kind of feature into the client where they can get anyone that's playing to hit an ip. it could be in limited bursts so it's not noticeable by players but if you add a bunch of them together it could do some damage.
just a thought.

still i don't see why they would attack rune-server just for vault and i don't see where they even coordinate the attacks so...
