Moderator Applications

So, now that the applications are closed and sorted appropriately, what exactly is the plan with them? Can we assume that they will continue to be filtered until only a few remain, or will they stay in their current categories and be used as a sort of stockpile of possibilities? If the people you've chosen to take positions have already been given them (e.g [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]), would it not make more sense to just delete the section?

Or hide them until someone gets demoted or resign

good idea tbh, you know if they dont people will continue to post in it (if they can now? idk not been in that section lols)

Their probably kept and postponed until their in need of staff. This is also good strategy as when they check a month later or so for infractions/user inactivity, the member might assume his application is reject so he/she resorts to being the "normal person" he/she is if you know my point.

The decisions for the two promotions could not have been made on these apps. Iirc, the mods were both chosen before applications were closed.
