Thread: I'm out of here

Numbers has failed us, in my opinion, and I think I've begun to out-stay my welcome here. I'm not happy with the current staff, and I'm not going to put up with it, so I'm leaving. I'm not going to make a long depressing post of how I will miss all of you - because frankly I wont. I have been here for almost two years and have yet to see the community take one stride forward. I'm tired of hypocrisy among staff - whether it be them not experienced enough to lead a community of this sort, or they themselves do not follow the rules (*cough* AJ *cough*). I'm tired of all the bullshit, and I'm tired of writing endless code that will never be used for the community, in fruitless attempts of helping this community succeed. I will finish OpenRS for you guys because I have promised it to you, but from now on I will no longer be posting around these forums. I've been around since Kaitnieks, and I saw this community before Kevin stole it from Gand(e)r, back when it was called rs-server. Enough chit-chat, hopefully you guys can turn this crap around some day.

It's funny to see you say my name. Considering it's because of you I got moderator, and you seem to know so much about my situation, when you're not even really that active. Like I tell everyone, there is 2 sides to a story, and I will not explain to this community my side, as they don't deserve it.

Yes, you were a good member. You act like rune-server is failing, just because older people are leaving, don't mean we're not growing. Generation grows. R-s has been going somewhere, sorry if it doesn't pertain to all your sort, but this is rsps. A lot of people do it for fun, that's all it all is buddy. Fun. Only some take it seriously.
