what is your story about how you came to rs coding (specifically came to rune-server.ee)

i played alot of servers. I really liked them, but they were all unstable allstarscape servers so i went on about 60 different ones like a week+. finally I actually went into the mopar forums... didn't understand anything. but i heard about 508 servers.

so I went to the jcscape forums (not as popular as it is now... barely 100 members then) and met this guy (cant remember name) and he made this 508 that was as good as jcscape (when all servers were like the same... no skills, really basic combat).

went to 508 dl section (of rune-server) and posted the server as the owner asked me to. But in my stupidity I posted it in the dl section. deleted it after i was flamed and posted advertise. got to like 10 members, friends pc crashed for other reasons and server went under. I had about 10 posts at the time. started to dl a source and was like "ZOMG!" So i started to develop my 508 server and develop and more developing. till i get to right now

In 2006 at december my friend (dont rememmber him but hes in rune-server) told me to join this great forums and i did and i thought it was stupid and lost my first acc pass then i made new acc in 2007 and started bieng active and started my own website and forums and had a server

In 2006, I went on autofighter website. They had this quiz, and if you guessed right, they would give you your own runescape private server!

But I couldnt figure out the quiz, so I searched on google, and found moparscape. I thought it was cool, and downloaded moparscape client, startet the build-in server, and thought it was great! So I told one of my friends that he should download the client and connect to ip 0.0.0.0

we couldnt get it to work. I searched at mopar for quite a long time, about .. dont know, I just searched for something.

Finally, I found out how to make others connect to my server, and then I decided to make twinzscape(lol).. It actually became a little bit popular. (It was shit combined to now).

Anyway, I was on moparscape quite a long time, reading alot, downloading alot, getting viruses and such.

Then a member of moparscape, posted a link to rune-server. I thought at first it was a server, but then I found out that it was a community redirected to runescape private servers.

I joined rune-server, and I read about the official server and such, thought it would come out in a month after I joined. It didnt. But I still stayed here, as I liked this place.

At a time, I never went back to moparscape and fully stayed here. Here at, I also posted my twinzscape(lol), I was noob back then, I got some good feedbacks here too(some).

I downloaded alot here too, and looked at how they had done this and that. I learned slowly(very slowly).

I didnt just stay here, for the purpose of just talking about runescape private servers. I also stayed here, because of all the off topic sections there were, and what I could download and learn from this community.

I posted on peoples topics, got help from here, downloaded, gave to the community(tried to).

Now im here.

Around januray 15th 2009,

I got sick of coding a maplestory private server cause xml files make me dizzy and my comp didnt want to port foward the ports required for a maplestory private server. So i just went back on runescape and my friend told me that i could learn coding by making a private server so i joined rune-server cause i saw a tut list on silab about rune-server so i came here and im learning coding so 1 day i can make a maplestory private server

I started (cant remember date) winter love has just been released and i came across a forum where it had been posted. So i went on from there to kathenitcs (Cant spell it) then to here. Overall it's been 3 years i guess. Its amazing how servers have developed.

its amazing yes, but dont you think it could/should be farther?
