Please note before reading: I recognize that this could also be placed within the console gaming forum section, but I own the game on Origin, and would therefore like to hear about computer-based experiences. Also because #pcmasterrace, but I digress.

I'd just like to ask about everyone's experiences with Battlefield 1 so far. Have you played the campaign yet? Have you played multiplayer yet? What is your favorite part about Battlefield 1?

A little bit of history - I grew up as a Call of Duty fanboy, having grown bored of the Battlefield series after Bad Company 2, which was admittedly only played because of the multiplayer aspect of it. Battlefield 3 and 4 were fun, Hardline was a slight bit better, but Battlefield 1 has absolutely blown my dislike out of the water. I've always enjoyed the Call of Duty series because it's a very fast-paced game with an immersive story, whereas I grew bored very quickly of the Battlefield stories. They always felt very dry and underdeveloped. Aside from the Call of Duty: Ghost campaign and the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer, I've loved every component of the Call of Duty series along the way. The boost and double jumps that came with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 were tweaked from their original (awful) additions from Advanced Warfare, which made the game play an ever faster paced experience, requiring you to pay attention at all times. I'm not horrible excited for the 'space warfare' aspect of Infinite Warfare, but I hate to judge a game by its trailer and I preordered almost exclusively for the Modern Warfare remaster.

I haven't gotten to play the campaign of Battlefield 1 yet, aside from the introduction, but I have played the operations mode in multiplayer and absolutely loved it. I played the multiplayer beta a while back and preordered the game on cdkeys a week after, simply because of how much fun I'd had. I hope to finally play the campaign this coming weekend, but we'll have to see. I've been doing my best to keep up with RuneScape, work, and school, plus Gears of War 4 just came out.

Excuse my rambling, but hopefully that at least made a little bit of sense. Without starting any arguments in the replies, what do you all think of Battlefield 1 so far?

I've really enjoyed it, even more than I thought I would. It's been my go-to game as of late, that along with Gears of War 4. I'm pretty bad at Gears of War 4, so I end up just mostly playing Battlefield 1. I've always loved world-war style games so Battlefield 1 is no exception for me.

Not too sure about that, it's at 0 . It would have to go minus to even be remotely close to his IQ.

I'm fairly poor at Gears of War as well, but it's just so damn fun! I'm still working on the campaign, but I've played a couple of Horde matches. Too good.

In regard to Battlefield, I've been loving it. I really appreciate the variety in the game modes. Call of Duty got a little bland with the lack of dynamic in their matches.
