I'm really confused, the PS3 is only 3.2GHz single core with 256MB RAM and 256MB graphics memory yet it can play games with amazing graphics at 1080p? If a PC tried that it would die...

Technology is amazing dude
Xbox 360 has a Xenon 3 core processor, the Playstation 3 has an 8 core Cell microprocessor with one core reserved. It should be noted that the Cell processor doesn't use 'true cores' they're actually SPE sub cores, whereas the Xbox 360 uses true cores and not sub cores. Most of the content available for the PS3 doesn't take advantage of it's powerful processor, the PS3 usually only uses 1 core for multiple tasks, the Uncharted series was the only game to even come close to the limitations of the Cell's processor.
