    I've recently had some problem with my PS3 and I was watching the one show (a BBC show) and it come up that someone was ripped off by game for there xbox360 braking and it was not his fault.
    This is what happen to me, also was at the same store, GAME. So I decided to take them up on there letter to send in to GAME to get a new ps3.

    Don't get ripped off by "only 12 months warranty sorry".

    does this apply if the warranty ran out but you still have the 3 rod and its not your fault?

    Yup, watch the link I gave you. If it's not your fault and it's a manufacture issue then they have to replace or fix it for up to 6 years, if you're from England atleast.
