    yo guys this is my pc build i just ordered it so im gonna show some pics once i assemble it and once it gets here anyway here it is:
    Intel Core i7-5820K, Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti (2-Way SLI), Corsair 780T - System Build - PCPartPicker
    p.s this will be a work station pc and a gaming one at the same time

    I think you've went over the top with the mother board and the ram, I've got 16gb and I've never needed more than that, I game and use mine for a work station, i7 4790k, r9 290x

    Can't see you needing a 2-Way SLI GTX 980 Ti in this day and age. That GPU would run high-end games fine without the 2-way SLI. Unless it's for future proofing it, then I think that's a bit much.
    Same with the RAM, no way you'll need 64gb. Unless again, you're future proofing it. Nice build though, still fucking expensive.

    i choose such a high end motherboard for its overclocking potentials its comes with an over clock gauge that i can use to over clock my 5820k to the limit

    well i got this pc as a graduation gift from my parents lol so yh and the 2 way gtx980ti is for max settings 4k since i got a samsung uhd 50" so yh want best performance
