Thanks, well I wanted to make this PC last for at least 3-8 years. So you never know what I'll do in the future. And besides, its not like I have multiple PCs lying around the house, this is basically my main computer (programming, gaming, etc.).

32gb is stupid for anything of today. 16gb suffices for everything wheather it's extreme gaming or high valued rendering. 32gb is just too stupid to have without a very serious and ultimate purpose.
You also say "You don't know what I do.", well why not tell us rather than us guess whatever you're using all 32gb of ram. It seems as if you're going for bragging rights instead of performance.

I don't necessarily use it all. However I do a lot of multitasking and I normally use about 25-50%. It was on a good deal at NCIX (40% off) so I decided to go with 32GB. If you don't like it, don't be such an ass about it....

IO was simply giving my opinion on something that isn't needed. You did hit a sale and that's why you got it that's not a big of an issue, my only concern is your calculations on how much you actually use " I normally use about 25-50%. ". Take it has cnc

Its all good. Well I do lots of multitasking as I said earlier, thats why I upgraded from my old PC which only had 8GB. I'm only 14, and I plan on keeping this until I'm 20+ years of age. You never know what I do in the future, however thanks for the feedback!
