How would I go about exporting my Chrome and Firefox saved passwords to a file? I will be losing internet in or around about a month so I will be transferring certain sites to be browsed via my phone so I need to be able to keep a list of my passwords to add them to the phone as needed.

Any help is much appreciated thanks,

Firefox has Firefox sync, means you can sync passwords between all devices

I don't know about Chrome but you can use Firefox password export plugin which allow you to export your firefox password to a file and also you can import your password using same plugin.

Most modern browsers (I know Chrome and Firefox are an example of this) support a sign-in or settings synchronisation across devices (e.g sign in with your google account into chrome and then the next time you sign in on youtube on your phone or chrome on your phone, all those settings (including passwords) can be sync'd across.
