Pretty unlike Microsoft to give out any of their software for free. Has anyone upgraded to Windows 10 yet? I'm still rocking 7 on my desktop and was thinking about trying it out.

So, Microsoft has officially announced with Windows 10 (Technical & Consumer previews as well as with the full release), you will be able to use a new version of Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint at the moment the Technical Preview has access to:
- Word Preview
- Powerpoint Preview
- Excel Preview
These will be free to use and will have all features of the "premium" office suite version's, however, these will not be updated unless they are patching bugs such as crashing issues or data loss, as the office suite will keep getting new changes, features, etc.
With the full release they will just be called:
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
without the "MicroSoft" prefix infront of them
