did you try restarting your computer?

The sound on my laptop does not work, it just randomly stopped working one day. If I plug in an external speaker, or headphones it works but the built-in speakers don't. Could anyone PLEASE help me find a solution?
What I have already tried...
1. Resetting speaker settings
2. Updating sound drivers
3. Making sure volume is on
4. Every other obvious solution
Here's my laptop specs...

Hi, have you tried to restore your computer? Also, what have you installed before your sound stopped working?
Realtek HD Audio is sometimes a bitch. You can try right clicking on the sound icon (bottom right corner). Click Sounds > Playback then right click on your speakers that are in use and click Properties > Levels. Check to see if anything is turned down. Happened to me once after I plugged a mic in lol.
