I have some problems with my ipod touch,

First off certain apps won't open up, the crash instantly when they start up.
Second the earphones slot is damaged (I think), because I can only hear through one side of the earphones, while in another device both sides work.

    Info:

    Firmware 3.1.3 MC
    Jailbroken

    Thanks,
    Arvid

The apps crashing is probably lack of free RAM. You have an 8gig MC right?

The problem probably isn't the headphones slot, but the headphones itself?

he said headphones work with other devices, what I did was get a converter from the bottom slot for the USB cable to a 3.2mm jack.

If your apps are crashing check there compatible with the 3.1.3 and if you are cracking apps to get them for free that might be a problem as well .

Some apps don't work with outdated firmware. I had the same problem. Just download older versions of the app and it usually should work (even though it's not the updated version of the app).
