Ubuntu, just used to it, use it every day etc.
I dual boot Windows and Ubuntu - using Ubuntu for work(I work from home) and then Windows in the evenings for if I want to game.
Haven't seen much about MX Linux, will check it out![]()

Howdy,
Basically when it comes to distros yes different distros for different things, and some having different package managers.
What is your favourite Linux Distro?
Why?
Do you have linux booted up as main OS, or its running on a VM or you have windows sub system for linux (WSL1/2)
Would like to know.
FOR ME:
What is your favourite Linux Distro?
MX Linux would be my go too, but also arch would be pretty damn close.
Why?
MX generally comes with custom tools and aswell debian (newer packages) while as you all know debian runs the old ones. (stable branch of debian) making it secure, stable for us programmers. (GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE IS BEAUTIFUL)
Arch - Because it is difficult to set up basically having no installation bundler![]()
But in reality the fact that you can make it cater to your needs is what makes it amazing.
Would like to know what the rune-server community has to say.

Probably gonna be a very common answer.. but Ubuntu.
School got me to use it, I like it surprisingly well so far... you can customize it very in-depth and the community behind it seems great so far.
Only tried Fedora, Raspbian, Kali and Ubuntu so far though.
freebsd
linux is for noobs
Oh so you dual boot it, have you considered using wsl basically saving yourself the hassle of having to wait for the machine to load and basically you can access your windows files through linux?
MX Linux is pretty neat mate, check it out.
Yeah Ubuntu is great it is quite simple to use
well unix is pretty damn similar if not the same in some ways.
Yeah Manjaro is nice, but something about arch man and flexibility.
Ubuntu
OpenBSD is still the best technology (except the shitty PKG manager which is vastly inferior to apt) but the Gnome implementation is clearly an after thought and now I do actual work having a functional UI takes priority. Especially since I don't do anything software related irl.
Fedora had regular freezing problems when I tried it.
